Please continue to work on your portfolios and 3-minute philosophy projects. These are due Tuesday, March 18. Begin or keep reading The Stranger by Albert Camus.
While in the lab, take some time (about 10-15 minutes) to read about Albert Camus and existentialism. Please use the links to take notes on the following questions (homework for Tuesday).
Existentialism
Albert Camus
7. How might The Stranger be considered an example of existentialism? What is Camus' point about the meaning of our lives?
STORY/POEM/PLAY/CREATIVE RESPONSE IDEA: Choose a quote from Albert Camus and use this somehow in your writing (either as an epigram or perhaps as a starting point for a story/poem/essay/script, etc.)
HOMEWORK: Portfolio is due next class. Please include your adventure story, your philosophy response(s), your race/civil disobedience response and upload your 3-minute philosophy film. Remember to include a reflection in your portfolio. Finally, please begin/read Camus. Research and answer the questions above to turn in for homework. Read The Stranger.
