This course will include occasional workshops so that you can support each other creatively, collaborate, and prepare your quarter portfolio. From your requests the workshop groups will be the following*:

Group A: Alquasia, Britney, Kemani, Kordae, Raeona, Turon

Group B: Akhiyar, Isobel, Jenna, Jesziah, Joshua, Kyla, Pahz

Each group should create a "Workshop Folder" on Google Docs and share it with the rest of your team (and ME!) Please share with me so I can check your progress: 1299861@rcsd121.org.
  • Workshop teams are required to provide written COMMENTS in student submitted drafts. Participation grades (from me) will be determined on the quality, accuracy, and helpfulness of your comments on a peer's draft/work.
  • Members of the workshop group should share copies of their drafts for review/workshop by the team. If a member does not contribute drafts to workshop, they cannot receive full credit for a workshop.
  • Any writing project or draft can be submitted for peer review/workshop.
  • Workshop rules/rubrics will be covered in class.
  • Workshops will be conducted every few weeks [with more frequency near the end of a marking period to help you prepare your quarterly portfolio.]
  • Workshop groups may be subject to change due to attendance, participation, or by special request.
